Getting started is simple! Just visit our home page and enter your registration details. Once you've created your account, you'll receive a confirmation email to verify your registration. After that, you're ready to start building your movie collection!

sync Importing your watched history

The best way to import your watched history, movies and TV shows into CatMoviez is by entering your Trakt username in the Account details page. This will initiate an ongoing daily process that retrieves updated information from Trakt into CatMoviez, so your collection stays in sync automatically.

add_circle How to Add Movies?

Step 1: Click on "Add Watched" in the top navigation menu.

Step 2: Type the movie's English name in the search box. Our smart search engine will find matches even if you make a small typo, as shown in the example below.

Step 3: Select the correct movie from the search results, then enter your grade (1-100) and viewing information in the form. Click "Add movie" to save it to your collection.

Step 4: Return to your home page to see your updated statistics. The more movies you add, the more interesting and accurate your statistics become!

IMDB (Internet Movie Database) ranks movies based on viewer ratings across various categories. CatMoviez compares your movie collection against IMDB's top-rated lists to show you how your viewing habits align with popular opinion.

For example, when viewing the IMDB Top 50 Drama movies, you'll see which ones you've watched and their rankings. The system also tracks weekly changes, showing you which movies moved up or down in the rankings.

star How to Use the "Top Movies" Page?

The Top Movies page lets you compare your watched movies against IMDB's top-rated lists. Simply select a category from the left sidebar to see which top movies you've watched and which ones you haven't seen yet.

Each movie shows its current ranking and how much it moved since last week (displayed in brackets). The stats section highlights the biggest movers and shakers in the rankings.
